Our dual blade machine has a different approach compared with all other combo machines on the market. It has a small footprint with one control panel equipped with dual screens, one for machine operations and the other for programming. Both contours for vertical and horizontal blade can be integrated in a single program, load the foam on the machine, press the start button and go. No operator needed throughout the entire program, no extra conveyors, no extra logistics no time wasted, just cut time. The program will park one blade and start the other in about 3 seconds. That is all it takes to go from one blade to the other.

Our foam securing method is different, one that really works. It has securing fences in the front and the back of the foam, exactly where is needed and where the conveyor movement is. This approach makes possible to cut full height blocks of 51 inches without the possibility of it wiggling or moving. The block being held together and not be able to move, allows higher cutting speeds compared with any other vertical contour cutting machines. Vertical and horizontal blades are exactly one inch apart, this is easily electronically offset between the vertical program and the horizontal program. With the block of foam properly controlled and supported, we can guarantee perfect vertical and horizontal program registry every time and for every program.

Another aspect everyone omits to take in consideration is the consumables: the blades. For two machines you need two different blades and they are not cheap. Our machine it is called a dual blade machine for everyone to understand, but it actually has only one very long blade that cuts horizontally, goes thru the frame of the machine in a special patented way and comes out vertically, going back thru the frame and come out horizontally. You should know by now the price of a blade is not set by the foot but by the weld. One long blade is cheaper than two short ones and it has longer life span having more linear feet. If you factor this aspect thru the life of the machine you will be surprised how many tenths of thousands you will save.

For the price of our competitors combo lines, you can get two of our machines that will fit in the same space as a combo machine. With mirrored control panels, both machines can be controlled by a single operator.
